Official Announcement for 2016 Golden Spoon Contest
The 2016 Golden Spoon contest will officially take place in early June, 2016.
As with previous contests, the fourth edition of the Golden Spoon contest will continue to be a place for professional chefs who represent leading restaurants, hotels or resorts throughout the country to gather and compete against one another. Each team will be made up of three members (one chef and two assistants).

Unique to the 2016 Golden Spoon contest is that the preliminary rounds will be organized only at three different locations. The two semi-final rounds will be held with one each in the north and south, and the final round will be held in Ho Chi Minh City.
Of note, the value of the prizes in the preliminary and semi-final rounds is dramatically increased this year: Each top prize awarded in the preliminary rounds is VND 40 million and the top prize of the semi-final rounds is VND 50 million
